Mrs Dominique Lewsey

  • Mrs Lewsey is in charge of the daily running of the practice.
  • She is in charge of personnel in the practice.
  • She directs all administrative and IT issues.
  • She is the practice contact for NHS and other bodies.

Deputy Operations Manager

The deputy operations manager role is to support the operations manager in the day to day running of the practice.

Reception Managers

Miss Ellie Davison

The reception manager’s aim is to maintain and improve the seamless and efficient running of the reception desk. She manages a team of 10 part time receptionists who cover from 08:00 to 18:30 Monday to Friday.

The reception managers aim to ensure her team provide patients with appropriate appointments to meet their clinical needs, in a timely manner. Ellie and her team process information in accordance with the guidelines as set out by NHS England, DOH, SEHCCG and comply with the statutory regulations, guidelines and protocols in accordance with the data protection act and caldicott principles to name but a few.

The reception managers role has numerous other back office tasks that co-ordinate the clinical functionality and availability of the practice team, thus ensuring that patients visiting our practice have a good patient experience and aims to resolve any issues or queries as quickly and as effectively as possible, so if you have any questions, comments or suggestions, then please do not hesitate to contact them.

Secretaries

The medical secretarial teams aim is to provide patients with professional administration of patient referrals and any other medically sensitive documentation required by other parties with patient consent. There are 3 medical secretaries.

They liaise with NHS hospitals, community clinics and private sector healthcare providers, and ensure that existing and new clinic information is maintained and/or updated, thus adhering to clinical care pathways and local/national guidelines and protocols.

The medical secretaries process information in accordance with the guidelines as set out by NHS England, DOH, SEHCCG and comply with the statutory regulations, guidelines and protocols in accordance with the data protection act and caldicott principles to name but a few.

Administration Team

The administration teams aim is to help in the appropriate administration of patients documents that facilitate patient care, enhance data quality, and to help achieve practice and national targets using appropriate read-codes, as and where required, and as directed by national/local or practice guidelines.

The administration team follow practice protocols to ensure consistent and high quality care is provided to our patients by means of accurate administration of dairy dates, patient recall and data quality checks, whilst also carrying out administrative tasks relating to patient records, including filing, document management, and ensuring that they are easily available to members of staff that require access for patient care.

The team help maintain dairy entries for chronic disease registers, assist in the monthly recall of chronic disease patients and contribution in clinical data audits, read code maintenance and data quality continuity.

Reception

Our receptionists are the first point of contact with the patients.

It is their job to help and advise you within the guidelines laid down by the Operations Manager and the doctors.
